Making full use of the advantage of the Group, Shagang ITC implements the policy of “sharing resources and developing all together” proclaimed by the Board through stable supply of bulk raw materials such as iron ore, scrap and etc. to members and through integration of the raw materials supply system based upon “resource assurance, cost optimization and rational structure”. With further expansion of the Group, the tonnage of bulk raw material supply is increased dramatically. Shagang has become one of the top two importers of iron ore in China. Shagang ITC will make use of its competitive edge and strengthen its cooperation with major mining companies through equity participation, investment and trading so as to secure long term supply of bulk raw materials to the members of the Group.
